Intro to Mountain BIking

Not sure how to get your kids skilled up on the mountain bike?  Have them spend a day with us to gain some great skills they can take on any trail.

We will be heading to Wilkesboro for this program.  The OVT trail is awesome – smooth single track with climbs that are not too bad.  This is a place where love of mountain biking can be born.  

Once at Wilkesboro we will go over bike safety, helmet fit, how to fall, and do some fun skill games.  We will break the rides up into two sections.  The before lunch section will be brief with a lot of check ins to make sure the kids are rolling along well.  After lunch we will head out for about 5 miles of smooth single track with breaks as needed.  If time permits and the group wants – we will get a few holes of disc golf in on the way back to High Point. 

Campers will need their own bike, helmet, and water bottle.

COVID 19 Statement:  ECOS Groups believe is letting the campers push their personal limits.  However, with COVID 19 being beyond our control we have the following safeguards in place:

• Limit of 6 mtb campers/day for each section of camp during re-opening phase 2.
• Cleaning vehicle prior to each time campers enter. 
• Face masks brought to camp on a daily basis – worn while in route to destination.
